SAFE-D Regional Seminar: Southeast Texas Regional Training [September 23, 2023 9:00 AM - September 23, 2023 3:00 PM]

SAFE-D comes to southeast Texas for a full day training. Attendees can receive their full 6-hour training requirement in one sitting!

We'll cover the ABCs of ESDs and Laws Affecting ESDs curriculum. SAFE-D's Clay Avery will discuss the basics of ESDs and the laws on the books that ESD commissioners need to be familiar with. We will have the opportunity to go in-depth on topics specifically affecting ESDs in the area. This free-wheeling seminar will give plenty of opportunities for questions and answers about issues that ESDs face every day.

Cost is only $75 per representative of a SAFE-D member ESD or its affiliated service provider; $160/nonmember. SAFE-D will apply to Texas A&M's V.G. Young Institute of County Government for six hours of ESD Commissioner Training Credit related to this training.

This is an in-person Regional Seminar in Jasper. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
