It's that time again. SAFE-D’s Executive Director Clay Avery discusses the various issues that ESDs must consider as they set their tax rates for the year. The webcast will focus on broader concepts that ESDs should be aware of with regards to the property tax rate setting process. We will start with a *quick* refresher of the components that go into determining an ESDs tax rate, with special focus paid to the process and notice requirements. There will be time for questions and answers. SAFE-D will apply to Texas A&M's V.G. Young Institute of County Government to certify this training for one (1) hour of ESD Commissioner Training Credit.
